Investigative Three’s Curriculum

(Three year olds)

Weekly curriculum includes:

Daily language group, Sign language, safety, manners and etiquette, library day, sensory, music, game day, science activity, art creation and community service.

  • Identify first and last names
  • How to hold a crayon/ marker correctly
  • Practice writing their first name
  • Introduce writing first name on their own
  • Introduce how to use and hold scissors correctly
  • Counting numbers 1-31
  • Write numbers 0-10
  • Repetition of basic color, shapes and letters
  • Recognize upper and lower case letters
  • Continue building understanding of the different parts of the calendar
  • Identify and understand the types of weather outside
  • Continue to work on basic sign language
  • Learn and recite birthday
  • How to follow simple two-step directions
  • Fully potty trained
  • Continue daily classroom helpers
  • How to set a table
  • How to properly sit at the table and use table manners
  • Proper hand washing
  • Inside and outside voices
  • Using our words to communicate a problem or concern
